Local to NJ | Local DL is MUST Role: MS/Fabric Platform Engineer Locations: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract Platform Engineering Administration: • Design deploy and manage Microsoft Fabric enterprise environments • Administer Fabric capacities workspaces OneLake and platform configurations • Establish platform standards governance frameworks and operational procedures • Build reusable deployment frameworks for Fabric workloads • Manage platform scalability performance optimization and capacity planning • Implement high availability resiliency and disaster recovery capabilities • Support enterprise data and analytics platform modernization initiatives DevSecOps Automation: • Design and implement enterprise DevSecOps frameworks for Microsoft Fabric • Build and maintain CICD pipelines for Fabric Power BI and Azure workloads • Automate environment provisioning deployments monitoring and governance activities • Integrate security controls throughout the Software Development Lifecycle SDLC • Implement InfrastructureasCode IaC and configuration management practices • Establish automated testing and deployment validation processes • Drive shiftleft security and policyascode adoption Microsoft Fabric Operations Manage • OneLake • Fabric Data Factory • Fabric Lakehouse • Fabric Data Warehouse • Fabric Data Engineering • Fabric RealTime Analytics • Fabric Notebooks • Fabric Data Science • Fabric Power BI • Monitor capacity utilization and workload performance • Optimize platform resource consumption and costs • Manage release processes across Development QA UAT and Production environments • Implement backup recovery and business continuity procedures Security Compliance: • Implement enterprise security controls and governance frameworks • Configure rolebased access controls RBAC and leastprivilege access models • Integrate Microsoft Entra ID with Fabric and Azure services • Implement secrets management and credential rotation policies • Support regulatory compliance and audit requirements • Perform security assessments vulnerability management and remediation activities • Implement data protection encryption and monitoring solutions Cloud Engineering • Design and support Azurebased platform infrastructure • Implement cloudnative services supporting Fabric workloads • Manage networking security boundaries and private connectivity • Support multienvironment deployment strategies • Enable platform observability and operational excellence Monitoring Reliability Engineering: • Establish end-to-end platform monitoring and alerting • Implement logging tracing and operational dashboards • Track platform health reliability SLA and performance KPIs • Lead incident management root cause analysis and remediation efforts • Drive platform reliability and continuous improvement initiatives Collaboration Technical Leadership: • Partner with Data Engineers Architects Security Teams and Business Stakeholders • Define engineering standards deployment frameworks and governance controls • Mentor platform engineers and DevOps team members • Lead platform reviews security reviews and operational readiness assessments Thanks Mayank Verma Senior Technical Recruiter | Empower Professionals ......................................................................................................................................
