If you’re skills match the job description, please share your updated resume along with your location and expected rate so that I can get in touch with you for further process Role: IT Project Manager Location: Bedford, MA / Burlington, MA (hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months Must Have: • Experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of an AWS Workspaces / Workspaces Applications implementation • Align business, IT, security, and vendor stakeholders • Identity & access management Description: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end to end delivery of an AWS Workspaces / Workspaces Applications implementation for a global enterprise environment. The engagement focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and compliant virtual desktop services{*}, supporting {*}engineering and knowledge worker use cases including GPU accelerated workloads, integration with enterprise identity, security, and operations frameworks, and coordination across multiple regions (APAC, EMEA, Americas). Responsibilities: • Drive successful planning, execution, and delivery of the AWS WorkSpaces program • Align business, IT, security, and vendor stakeholders. • Ensure on time, on budget delivery while managing risks, dependencies, and compliance requirements • Establish transparent governance, reporting, and decision processes. • Technical Coordination (Hands On PM, Not Architect) • Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams including: • Cloud engineering • Infrastructure & networking • Identity & access management • Security & compliance • End user computing / workplace teams • Coordinate delivery across: o AWS WorkSpaces / WorkSpaces Applications o Active Directory / identity integration o Networking (VPC, connectivity, latency considerations) o Image lifecycle management and automation pipelines • Track and manage dependencies related to: o Antivirus and endpoint security integration o CMDB and asset management expectations o Monitoring and operational readiness o Vendor & Partner Management o Manage one or more external delivery partners • Review and govern: o Delivery plans o Resource assignments o Change requests o Ensure vendors deliver according to agreed scope, quality, and timelines. o Facilitate workshops, deep dives, and design review sessions o Risk, Issue & Compliance Management • Proactively identify and manage: o Technical risks (performance, scalability, security constraints) o Organizational risks (ownership gaps, readiness) o Compliance risks (data residency, audit, regulatory) o Maintain a formal risk & issue log o Drive mitigation actions and escalate when required o Ensure traceability of decisions and deviations o Operational Readiness & Handover • Coordinate readiness for: o Pilot rollout o Production go live o Support model and operational ownership Requirements: • 5+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager delivering complex infrastructure or cloud programs • Proven experience managing AWS based initiatives preferably: • Virtual desktops (AWS WorkSpaces, AppStream, or similar) • End user computing platforms • Engineering or CAD focused virtual desktop environments • GPU workloads in cloud environments • Regulated or enterprise IT environments (security, audit, data residency) • Agile / hybrid delivery models • Cloud governance and cost management concepts • Project Management certification In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $50 – $60/hr.
