Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Engineering & Automation

Develop and execute automated test frameworks for Databricks notebooks,
jobs, Delta tables, and data pipelines.
Implement automated data validation, schema checks, and quality
monitoring using tools such as PySpark, SQL, Delta Live Tables, and
Databricks Workflows.
Build reusable test harnesses for ETL/ELT processes, ML pipelines, and
APIs.


Data Pipeline Testing

Conduct end to end testing of ingestion, transformation, and consumption
layers.
Validate data quality dimensions including accuracy, completeness,
timeliness, validity, consistency, and uniqueness.
Create and maintain synthetic datasets for testing workflows.


Collaboration & Governance

Work closely with Data Engineers, Platform Engineers, and Data
Scientists to ensure high-quality pipeline design and execution.
Partner with governance teams to implement data quality SLAs, KPIs, and
observability dashboards.
Contribute to CI/CD processes for Databricks jobs and testing
automation.


Performance & Reliability

Analyze and optimize performance of Spark jobs and data workflows.
Troubleshoot failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective
actions.
Ensure testing processes scale across large datasets and distributed
compute environments
