Job Title : Business Analyst with AFS Experience
Location : Cincinnati, OH (Remote)
Duration : 12+ Months
Experience Required
- 10 years total experience.
- 5+ years with AFS in an operational, business analyst, or tech support capacity.
Technical Skills – Must Have
- Strong knowledge of AFS data hierarchies (currents, futures, takedowns, obligations, process types).
- Experience with ETL processes for sharing AFS data with downstream systems.
- Familiarity with financial, regulatory, and compliance reporting requirements.
- Ability to create and execute SQL scripts for ETL/data testing.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Role Overview
The Business Analyst IV will provide subject matter expertise on the AFS data model, supporting L3 to Vision and data modernization initiatives. This role will ensure accurate end-of-day reporting of AFS data to downstream consumers by collaborating closely with business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, breaking them into actionable functional designs.
· Translate business needs into technical specifications for development teams.
· Create clear and complete Test Acceptance Criteria; perform Unit and UAT testing to ensure data accuracy.
· Collaborate with technical team members to align requirements with optimal technical solutions.
· Conduct research on banking trends, data engineering, architecture, and data security.
· Provide support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for data platforms.
· Work on internal projects such as legacy system replacement, monitoring improvements, tool development, and documentation.
· Mentor and guide team members.
· Manage and prioritize multiple assignments effectively.
