- Design, develop, and maintain complex business rules within the Fircosoft Rule Engine to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Tune and optimize rule configurations to balance detection accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Analyze screening and monitoring alerts to identify gaps and improve rule effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into actionable rule sets.
- Perform testing and validation of new and updated rules to ensure system accuracy and reliability.
- Document rule logic, changes, and procedures to maintain governance and audit readiness.
- Provide training and guidance to business and technical teams on rule engine functionalities.
- Monitor regulatory changes and incorporate them into rule updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to rule execution and alert generation.
- Support integration efforts of Fircosoft systems with internal platforms and data sources.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience working with Fircosoft Rule Engine or similar AML rule management systems.
- Strong understanding of AML, sanctions screening, and financial crime prevention regulations.
- Experience in designing and tuning business rules for transaction monitoring or sanctions screening.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., SQL, Python) preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with compliance, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Fircosoft Sanctions Screening, Transaction Monitoring, and Watchlist Manager.
- Knowledge of global sanctions lists (OFAC, UN, EU, HMT, etc.).
- Familiarity with financial products, transaction types, and risk indicators.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks like FATF, Basel AML guidelines.
