Job Title: Web API, Manual & Automation - QE Lead
Location: Englewood, NJ (Hybrid, 3 days in office)
Duration: 6-12 Months
Job Overview:
- We are looking for a QE Lead specializing in API Testing & Automation to join NBC's team in Englewood, NJ.
- This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days on-site work, with a focus on delivering high-quality software testing solutions across web applications and APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA efforts in web application and API projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners and engineering.
- Conduct manual API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger.
- Validate API endpoints, payloads, and responses for stability and reliability.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and REST Assured.
- Ensure test automation aligns with Agile methodologies and in-sprint automation.
- Troubleshoot and debug test failures using GIT, JIRA, and Jenkins.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven experience in API testing and Automation (Web + API).
- Strong knowledge of tools like Swagger, Postman, and Selenium.
- Hands-on experience with Java, TestNG, and REST Assured.
- Experience with API automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins.
Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with engineering and business teams.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
