Role Description:  Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop, test, and deploy FoxPro applications based on business requirements.
  2. Maintain and enhance existing applications for optimal performance and functionality.
  3. Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
  4. Optimize database queries and improve data handling performance.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver solutions.
  6. Provide documentation, user guides, and technical support as needed.
  7. Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  1. Proficient in Microsoft FoxPro (FoxPro 2.6, and good knowledge  of Visual Foxpro 7). Strong understanding of database concepts, including SQL and relational databases.
  2. Experience with database optimization and query performance tuning.
  3. Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles.
  4. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
