Work location: Remote

Job Description:

Windows and Active Directory Administrator

Critical Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Green Card Holder,
and physically located in the U.S

Responsible for managing and maintaining a company''s Windows server
infrastructure, including user accounts, permissions, and network
access, primarily through the Active Directory system, ensuring smooth
operations and system security by implementing updates,
troubleshooting issues, and upholding compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Active Directory Management

Creating, modifying, and managing user accounts, groups, and
permissions within Active Directory.
Implementing and maintaining Active Directory domain structure,
including site and subnet configuration.
Managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security and system
settings across the network.
Troubleshooting Active Directory related issues, including replication
problems and authentication errors

Windows Server Administration:

Installing, configuring, and patching Windows Server operating systems
on physical and virtual environments.
Managing server roles and features, including file services, print
services, and web services.
Monitoring server performance and resource utilization, implementing
optimization strategies.
Performing system backups and disaster recovery procedures

Security Administration:

Implementing and enforcing security policies on Windows servers and
user accounts.
Managing user access controls and privilege escalation.
Monitoring for security threats and vulnerabilities, applying
necessary patches and updates

Troubleshooting and Support:

Diagnosing and resolving issues related to user logins, network
access, and application access.
Providing technical support to end-users on Windows related issues.
Collaborating with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems
