SAP IBP CPI-DS Integration Consultant
Work location: Frisco, TX

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SAP IBP CPI-DS Integration Consultant to join
our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in
implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP Cloud Platform
Integration for Data Services (CPI-DS) solutions. This role involves
working closely with clients to understand their business requirements
and design integration solutions that meet their needs. The consultant
will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project
delivery and provide ongoing support to clients. ETL experience using
CPI-DS from IBP and SAC are mandatory.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using SAP CPI-DS.
• Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements
and translate them into technical solutions.
• Configure and customize SAP CPI-DS to meet client needs, including
developing integration flows, mappings, and scripts.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers,
developers, and architects, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP CPI-DS integration solutions.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest SAP technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
• Expertise in integration strategy development, API governance, and
B2B integration with various internal and external applications across
the enterprise.
• Proficiency with SAP integration suite for design, development,
testing, and deployment leveraging REST/OData, IDOC, Events, Proxies,
BAPI/RFC, and EDI-based application interfaces.
• Experience in designing and configuring integration scenarios,
leveraging BTP capabilities such as Integration Advisor, Integration
Flow, and Event Mesh.
• Knowledge of Advanced Event Mesh.
• Proficiency in B2B integration solutions to facilitate seamless
collaboration with external partners, suppliers, and customers
• Strong knowledge in SAP ECC/S4HANA, BW, SAP IBP.
• ? Strong knowledge on sap tables, views, extractors, functions.
• ? Hands on on-premise to cloud, cloud to on-premise and cloud to
cloud integrations.
• ? Good knowledge on CI-DS Agent configurations.
• ? Good understanding and analysis on business requirement in
functional specification.
• ? Hands on writing technical specification documents and test cases
based on development.
• ? Hands on creating Datastores for source and target systems.
• ? Strong exposure in IBP integration.
• ? Hands on integration data from different source and target systems.
• ? Hands on designing and developing CI-DS dataflows.
• ? Hands on using predefined templates in CI-DS.
• ? Hands on using web services like RFC,ODATA,SOAP,REST.
• ? Strong knowledge on performance optimization.
• ? Good to have knowledge in developing dataflows using ABAP.
• ? Hands on using ABAP transformation/custom ABAP.
• ? Hands on pre-load and post load scripts and Global variables.
• ? Hands on writing functions/scripts in dataflow design.
• ? Hands on pre and post processing errors and data validation.
• ? Hands on promoting tasks/datastore in CI-DS production environment.
• ? Strong exposure on IBP folders like master data, timeseries,
calendar, calculation folders.
• ? Good to have knowledge on creating Application templates.
• ? Hands on scheduling jobs in CI-DS using scheduler and Application
jobs in IBP.
• ? Good to have knowledge in excel IBP add on to check and validate
the data in planning books/views.
