Location : close to Anchor, IL – Remote ( after 3months if client required onsite, you have to go)

IMS system programming support( Supported DBCTL or DB/DC or DCCTL) environment
IMS Installation, Maintenance and/or Upgrades
Worked on IMS Exit routines customization
Worked on IMS UserMod changes
DBRC maintenance
SYSGEN process
We need someone from System Side / System Programming side and NOT from Application side / development or UDB Background.
Please look for keywords SMPE & Installation & Upgrade etc. and share more suitable profiles.
SKILLS :
1. Installation, upgrade and maintenance of IMS DB/DC and related products
2. Sound knowledge in SMPE
3. Familiarity with problem determination, security and performance tuning.
4. Usage of IMS performance reports/metrics to analyse improvements.
5. Good experience with software maintenance.
Essential Knowledge :
Excellent Communication skills
Strong troubleshooting
Vendor coordination & ticket coordination
Business knowledge, Application team coordination
Desirable :
Experience in supporting PROD environments.
