Matson is looking for an additional Java developer (contractor) who will work on CAS project
Since CAS is an underlying framework that is used by multiple other applications, Matson needs this developer to have experience in developing products or frameworks or simply be excellent in programming concepts.
The stack is Java/Java EE/Spring/Hibernate/Data Structures.
Working knowledge of AWS is good to have.
***Must have Algorithms , data structures and performance tuning experience
Senior Software Engineer with Java Development
This is a regular, Senior Software Engineer with strength in Java Development
Knowledge of AWS is very important to have so they will understand the environment
Will be developing frameworks
Get into the details and is very good
They tend to use AWS extractions.
OFFICIAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
Candidate will be hands on, articulate, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to carry out rapid prototyping and a fast learner.
Mandatory skills
· Experience building and deploying web and batch apps with Java based technologies – Spring/Spring boot ecosystem/ Tomcat or similar app container
· Hands on experience with CI/CD
· installations and domain configuration
· Experience on AWS cloud
Other good to have skills
· Spent last at least 4 years practicing DevOps methodologies, CI/CD(preferably Jenkins tool knowledge), Configuration Management and Release management.
· Expertise in Configuration Management tools with Puppet, Ansible and Chef
· Proficient in using build tools such as Maven, Gradle for building of jar, war files.
· Experienced in managing artifacts generated by Maven in the Artifactory or Nexus repository
· Experienced in using Version Control Tools Github/Gitlab/Bitbucket.
· Proficient in developing the Automation scripts using Shell and Python Scripts.
Qualifications
• 10+ years industry experience.
