Job Description
Position Tableau Developer.
Location: : PLEASANTON CA
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience as Tableau developer
- Proficiency in use of query and reporting analysis tools.
- A solid understanding of SQL, rational databases, and normalization.
- Extensive experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
- ETL-Informatica development experience is added advantage.
- Power-BI development experience is nice to have.
- Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
- Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Tableau.
- Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions
- Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design. Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.
- Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.
- Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.
- Creating tools to store data within the organization.
- Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
- Adept in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
- Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.
Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.

- Experience in Agile/DevOps
