Sr Java Developer with Kafka

Remote

12+ Months

 

Qualifications: 

·         Over 10 years of experience working IT industry developing solutions in Java/J2EE technologies and at least 2 years' experience as senior developer in designing Java/J2EE solutions. 

·         Experience in agile development  

·         Expertise in Java, Spring, RESTful Web Services, MQ, AJAX/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, JDBC, any RDBMS databases, Junit 

·         Strong experience in developing REST based web services utilizing industry standard frameworks like Spring/Apache CXF 

·         Hands-on experience with relational databases  

·         Solid Knowledge of SQL development and performance tuning.  

·         Working knowledge of Maven, GitHub 

·         Thorough understanding of OOAD 

·         Demonstrated the ability to design, plan and execute.  

·         Familiarity with all facets of SDLC - ranging from inception to deployment  

·         Proven communication skills, both written and oral  

·         Works independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.  

·         Bachelor's computer science, MIS or related experience required 

 

 

 

Backfill Role:

Role: Sr. Java Developer
Location: Eden Prairie, MN (Initial Remote)
Duration: 12+ Months
Working with business partner and the end client is the healthcare industry

Primary Skill: Spring Boot
 Skills Required: 1. Experience building Spring Boot web applications
 2. Experience integrating Spring Boot applications with message-based tools such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQSeries, etc.
 3. Experience integrating Spring Boot Applications with relational or NOSQL databases including MySQL, MongoDB, Elastic Search, etc.
 4. Practical experience with unit testing for Spring Boot applications
 5. Experience supporting applications in production environments Skills Desired: Skills Required
 (In Priority Order)
 1. Must have experience with building Spring Boot web applications
 2. Must be able to write automated unit, functional and end-to-end tests, JUNIT and Test automation experience required
 3. Experience working on Agile teams
 4. Mongo

 

Role: Sr. Java Developer (Azure + Kafka + Data)
Location: Eden Prarie, MN
Duration: 12+ Months
Working with business partner and the end client is the healthcare industry 
Note: Knowledge of healthcare (claims, provider) mandatory.
 
Requirements:
·         Java engineer who has done real-time processing.
·         Java engineer with distributed systems experience.
·         Need people who can code and program, not just have exposure to Azure, Kafka, etc.
·         Proficient on data integration patterns
·         Understand data analysis and meta data management
·         Design and develop data pipeline solutions
·         Understand data streaming and API integration
·         Proficient on testing methods and automation best practices
·         Understanding of Data Stores (Files, Databases, Big Data)
·         Microsoft Azure
·         Data Factory and Data Bricks knowledge
·         Troubleshooting and issue resolution
·         Snowflake
·         Ideally has modeling experience: OLAP, OLTP.
