Job Overview / Scope:
Ø Data base design and modeling experience.
Ø Proficient in SQL development (complex queries, stored procedures, user defined functions) and performance tuning
Ø Proficient in ETL design and development in at least one tool, such as SSIS, Informatica, Data Loader
Ø Design and build database reports
Ø Monitor, maintain and enhance production ETL processes
Ø Respond, address and resolve issue tickets in a timely and professional manner
Ø Write and maintain technical documentation
Ø Collaborate with internal and external Clients as well as Developers and Business Analysts to define and understand technical requirements
Ø Follow industry and company standards, security guidelines, and best practices for ETL and database development
Ø Provide recommendations on tools to monitor and support all environments and implement as necessary
Ø Create process and systems improvement recommendations to assist the business in achieving its goals and objectives, leveraging best practices and professional experiences
Ø Participate in requirements gathering and definition efforts
Ø Provide accurate estimates in support of project planning efforts
Ø Respond quickly and effectively to defects and system outages
Ø Adheres to HIPAA and HITECH specifications in all aspects of solution architecture
