As a lead developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating an existing underwriting workstation application (Risk Management) utilizing an Angular and Java code-base. Your development role will require you to analyze user requirements and business objectives to be implemented, maintain/update the Risk Management application code and recommend changes to the existing Angular/Java-based application, among other code development responsibilities.

- Designing and developing user interfaces using AngularJS and Java best practices.
- Writing JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Conducting/assisting in performance tests.
- Aligning application design with business goals.
- Developing and testing software.

- Producing detailed design documentation.
- Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar.
- Previous work experience as an AngularJS and Java Developer.
- Proficient in CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
- Experience using Java Spring
- Experience using JavaScript building tools.
- Knowledge of JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks using Angular 7.
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Critical thinker and good problem-solver.
- Proven experience implementing front-end and back-end JavaScript applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
