Role: Sr. CyberArk PAM / HashiCorp Vault Engineer Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months Must Have Skills Design, implement, administer, and support HashiCorp Vault for enterprise secret management and credential protection Deploy and manage CyberArk PAM solutions, including onboarding, access controls, credential rotation, and privileged account governance Collaborate with security, infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to secure critical assets Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior CyberArk PAM / HashiCorp Vault Engineer to join our cybersecurity engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in HashiCorp Vault, privileged access management, secrets management, credential security, and enterprise identity security solutions. Expertise in HashiCorp Vault is mandatory, while hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM is highly preferred. Responsibilities · Design, implement, configure, administer, and support HashiCorp Vault for enterprise secrets management and credential protection. · Deploy and manage CyberArk PAM solutions, including privileged account onboarding, access controls, credential rotation, and account governance. · Integrate Vault and PAM platforms with cloud environments, applications, databases, and enterprise systems. · Develop automation scripts and workflows to streamline secrets management and privileged account lifecycle operations. · Collaborate with security, infrastructure, DevOps, and application teams to secure critical enterprise assets. · Perform platform upgrades, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security assessments. · Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. · Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational procedures. Requirements: · 10–12+ years of overall IT experience, with a strong focus on cybersecurity, IAM, and privileged access management. · Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault administration, deployment, configuration, and integrations. · Strong knowledge of secrets management, PKI, encryption, tokenization, authentication methods, and Vault policies. · Experience with CyberArk PAM, including privileged account onboarding, access management, credential rotation, and governance. · Understanding of enterprise security architecture, IAM, PAM, and access control principles. · Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. · Knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments. · Scripting and automation experience using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies. · Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
