Role: .NET Developer With Production Support Locations: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid Onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Contract F2F Interview MUST Note: Candidate needs to be in the office 3-4 Days every week. Local candidates only. Shift Requirements: • Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift model (including weekends and holidays). • Participate in on-call support rotation. Role Overview: • We are looking for a .NET Developer to support Application Maintenance Services (AMS) in a 24x7 production support model. • The role involves handling L1 and L2 support activities, troubleshooting application issues, and implementing minor enhancements for business-critical applications. Key Responsibilities: L1 Support Responsibilities: • Monitor application health, alerts, and job schedules. • Perform initial triage of incidents and service requests. • Resolve basic issues related to application functionality, UI, and job failures. • Ensure timely ticket acknowledgment and resolution as per SLA. • Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams where required. • Maintain logs, runbooks, and operational documentation. L2 Support Responsibilities: • Analyze and resolve application defects and production issues. • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions. • Fix bugs and minor code issues in .NET applications. • Handle data corrections and database-related issues. • Support deployment and release activities in coordination with DevOps teams. • Work on performance tuning and optimization of applications. Technical Skills Required: • Strong experience in .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core). • Experience with Web APIs, MVC architecture, and microservices. • Solid knowledge of SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning). • Familiarity with frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS; Angular/React is a plus). • Experience with IIS server management and debugging. • Knowledge of version control tools (Git, TFS, Azure DevOps). • Exposure to logging and monitoring tools (App Insights, Splunk, ELK, etc.). Desired Skills: • Understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management). • Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira. • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred). • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. • Domain experience in Banking, Insurance, or Healthcare is an advantage. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field. Soft Skills: • Strong troubleshooting and analytical ability. • Good communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work under pressure in a high-availability environment. • Proactive mindset and strong team collaboration skills. In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $50 - $55 /Hr. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation.
