We are sourcing for CPE Device Management Subject Matter Expert / Solution Architect role located at Remote is also acceptable and it is a long-term contract for at least 12 months and can be extended further as well. Role: CPE Device Management Subject Matter Expert / Solution Architect Location: Remote Duration: 12+ Month The requirement is to migrate and move away from old technology like TR-069 to new ones like TR-369 and PurpleOS. Hence, it’s mandatory to have these 2. And yes, it’s primarily telecom and ex-employees of below orgs you can target and see - • Nokia • Incognito Software Systems • Axiros • AVSystem • Friendly Technologies • Calix • CommScope Must have: Domain Telecom, Broadband Access Networks Experience 10+ years in telecom/networking, including 5+ years hands-on experience with broadband CPE/ACS device management Required Expertise • ACS Platforms: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Auto Configuration Server architecture and operations. • Broadband CPE Lifecycle Management: 5+ years of experience in provisioning, configuration, firmware/security updates, monitoring, and fault diagnosis across multi-vendor device fleets. • TR-069: 4+ years of experience with CPE WAN Management Protocol (CWMP), including RPC methods, TR-181 data model, session/connection handling, and vendor-proprietary extensions. • TR-369 / USP: 2+ years of experience, or strong TR-069 background with demonstrated TR-369 project exposure, including MQTT/WebSocket/CoAP transport bindings, pub/sub telemetry model, and USP Agent/Controller architecture. • Prpl OS: 2+ years of experience or direct project exposure with the cross-vendor Linux-based abstraction layer, including device-side integration and interoperability across vendor implementations. • Large-Scale Telecom Device Management: 5+ years of proven experience operating device fleets in the multi-million range, including rollout staging, canary patching, rollback, and vendor/SKU heterogeneity. Nice to Have • Prior involvement with Broadband Forum working groups or prpl Foundation initiatives. • Experience migrating a live device fleet from TR-069 to TR-369 without field truck rolls. • Background in spec-driven or standards-driven software development methodologies. • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, such as AWS or equivalent platforms, for telecom fleet management solutions.
