Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced C++ Developer / Application Developer to join the team at Client. The ideal candidate will have strong object-oriented programming fundamentals, hands-on C++ development experience, and practical experience developing and deploying applications on AWS, particularly Lambda and Fargate.

This position focuses on supporting, maintaining, and enhancing existing production applications.

Interview Process: 1 virtual round + 1 in-person round
Visa Requirement: US Citizens or Green Card holders only

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance C++ code for existing production applications.
Design, build, and deploy serverless workloads using AWS Lambda.
Design, build, and deploy containerized workloads using AWS Fargate.
Collaborate with development teams on ongoing application development and enhancements.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues within existing codebases.
Apply object-oriented design principles to create maintainable and scalable applications.
Participate in application enhancements, maintenance, and production support activities.
Follow software development best practices and contribute to overall application quality.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of object-oriented programming experience.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on software development experience.
Minimum 3 years of AWS experience.
Strong hands-on development experience with C++.
Hands-on experience developing and deploying applications using AWS Lambda and AWS Fargate.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification required.
Experience working with existing production applications and codebases.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on C++ developer with strong AWS experience who is comfortable working in a hybrid environment and supporting existing production applications. Candidates should have genuine, verifiable experience with C++, AWS Lambda, Fargate, and object-oriented development.
