This role will support Engineering Excellence initiatives by delivering high-quality, actionable dashboards and enabling data-driven decision-making across business and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports. • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective data visualizations. • Support Engineering Excellence initiatives through analytics and performance reporting. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across dashboards and reports. • Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation. • Implement best practices for dashboard design, usability, scalability, and performance. • Create and manage data models, extracts, and performance optimization strategies. • Provide actionable insights through data analysis and visualization. • Partner with Engineering, PMO, and Business teams to deliver reporting solutions. • Automate recurring reports and manage scheduled reporting cycles. Required Skills & Qualifications • 6–8+ years of experience in Tableau development and data visualization. • Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep. • Advanced SQL development and data manipulation skills. • Experience building enterprise-scale dashboards and analytics solutions. • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience with Elevance Health or within the Healthcare domain. • Experience with Power BI, Python, or R. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Experience developing engineering metrics, KPI dashboards, and performance reports. Soft Skills • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills. • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset. • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $50 - 60/hr. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation.
