Job Title: IAM Cybersecurity / Enterprise Security Architect
Location: :- Houston, Texas (onsite)
Duration: 12 months
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity / Enterprise Security professional with over 15 years of extensive experience in the field. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies. This role is critical in safeguarding our organization information assets and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The candidate will lead initiatives to enhance our security posture and respond to emerging threats.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect organizational assets.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats.
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security breaches.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all business processes.
- Monitor security systems and analyze security incidents to improve response strategies.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
- Provide training and awareness programs to staff on cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
- Prepare and present reports on security incidents and risk management to senior management.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.) and best practices.
- Proven experience in risk management and incident response.
- Expertise in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
- Experience with cloud security and securing cloud environments.
- Knowledge of security compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies (SIEM, DLP, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in cybersecurity or enterprise security roles.
- Proven track record of managing complex security projects and initiatives.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
