Role: Windows Administrator Location: Hillsboro, OR (fully onsite) Duration: 12+ Months Must Have: • 8+ Years of exp as Windows Admin • 6+ Years of Exp in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services • 4+ Years of exp in VMware or Hyper-V virtualization platforms Requirements: • Strong experience with Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure management. • Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file services. • Hands-on experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization platforms. • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation. • Experience with patch management, monitoring tools, backup solutions, and system troubleshooting. • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and hybrid infrastructure environments. • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, endpoint protection, and access management. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Responsibilities: • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) across enterprise infrastructure. • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and related Windows services. • Perform server installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management. • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of services. • Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V. • Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes. • Implement and maintain system security, hardening, and compliance standards. • Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell scripting. • Coordinate with network, security, cloud, and application teams for infrastructure support. • Maintain documentation for system architecture, SOPs, configurations, and operational procedures. • Support cloud-based Windows workloads in environments such as Microsoft Azure. • Participate in on-call support and incident management activities. In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $40 - 50/hr. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation.
