Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Genesys Developer with strong hands‑on technical expertise to design, develop, customize, and support Genesys contact center solutions, including Agentic AI capabilities and Virtual Agent implementations. . The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of experience working with Genesys platforms and will be based in the U.S., preferably in Texas. This role requires deep technical knowledge, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and implement Genesys contact center solutions to meet business requirements.
· Develop and integrate Agentic AI workflows, enabling autonomous and semi‑autonomous task execution within customer interactions.
· Configure and customize Genesys components such as routing strategies, IVR flows, and integrations.
· Develop and maintain call flows, routing logic, and business rules using Genesys tools.
· Integrate Genesys with third‑party systems (CRM, databases, web services, etc.).
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues related to Genesys environments.
· Perform performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization of Genesys applications.
· Support upgrades, patches, and migrations of Genesys platforms.
· Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and deployment guides.
· Collaborate with architects, QA, business analysts, and operations teams.
· Provide guidance and mentoring to junior developers, as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
· 7–10 years of hands‑on experience working with Genesys contact center solutions.
· Strong experience with one or more of the following:
o Genesys Engage and/or Genesys Cloud
o Genesys Composer, IRD, GVP, ORS
o Genesys SIP Server, URS, and Framework components
· Proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript, with experience in RESTful APIs and web services.
· Strong understanding of call routing, IVR design, and contact center workflows.
· Experience with databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and data integration.
· Solid knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git, SVN).
· Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Genesys certifications (Engage or Cloud).
· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
· Prior experience working with large‑scale contact center implementations.
· Ability to work in a client‑facing role.
