Frontend Developer
Duration: 7+ month contract
Pay Rate: $50/hr. on C2C
Location: Hybrid in 400 Capitol Mall Suite 2700, Sacramento, CA 95814 – Must be local
Any visa except H1B
Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical design, development, and delivery of frontend solutions
- Develop responsive, high-performance applications using React 18 and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Build and maintain reusable components using:
- Functional components
- React hooks (useState, useEffect, useContext, useRef, custom hooks)
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions and UI implementations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including:
- Product owners
- Backend developers
- QA/testing teams
- Ensure applications follow best practices in performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Support and resolve technical queries from functional and testing teams
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with React 18
- Functional components and hooks
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including:
- Destructuring
- Spread/rest operators
- Async/await
- Modules
- Optional chaining
- Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, and SASS/SCSS
- Responsive design
- Flexbox
- CSS Grid
- Experience building modern, scalable frontend architectures
- Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization and best practices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
