We are sourcing for a Sr. Data Engineer role located at Bellevue WA (Hybrid) and it is a long-term contract for at least 12 months and can be extended further as well. If you have any suitable profiles, please share their updated resumes with the candidate’s location, work authorization, and expected rate so that we can proceed Role: Sr. Data Engineer Location: Bellevue WA (Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Months Must have: Databricks, Unity Catalog, DBT, Azure (ADF, ADLS, Synapse), and Microsoft Fabric Requirements: • 10+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data governance, or a closely related discipline in enterprise environments. • Proven experience administering or implementing enterprise Data Governance platforms (Collibra, Ataccama, Alation, OpenMetadata, Securiti.ai, OneTrust, or equivalent). • Strong SQL proficiency ability to write complex, high-performance queries and stored procedures across large-scale relational and cloud-native data stores. • Hands-on experience with Databricks, Unity Catalog, DBT, Azure (ADF, ADLS, Synapse), and Microsoft Fabric. • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and scheduled governance jobs. Familiarity with CI/CD practices using GitLab or Azure DevOps for governance and platform engineering code. • Working knowledge of AI/ML engineering concepts including foundation models, prompt engineering, RAG, and agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent). • Proficiency with Python or equivalent for scripting, automation, API integration, and AI agent development. Governance & • Domain Expertise Deep understanding of data governance concepts: data quality, data lineage, business glossary, metadata management, data classification, and access governance. • Experience working with business and technical data stewards to collect metadata, apply governance rules, and support stewardship programs at scale. • Familiarity with client data platforms, data domains, and the enterprise data ecosystem or demonstrable ability to quickly develop this fluency. • Compliance & Privacy Experience supporting compliance with CCPA/CPRA, FCC, USGCI, ISO 27001, ISO 42001, or comparable privacy and data security regulatory frameworks. Understanding of data anonymization, de-identification, data retention, and deletion engineering patterns. • Familiarity with Data Subject Request (DSR) workflows, consent management, and privacy impact assessments. In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $50 – $60/hr. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation.
