Job Title : SAP FICO Techno Functional Finance consultant
Location : Remote with travel to Detroit, MI as needed (client will pay the expenses)
Duration : 11+ Months
Position Summary
Role Summary: SAP Techno Functional Finance consultants to support an ERP integration initiative focused on unifying financial processes, forecasting, and month end close. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders in Detroit and aligning multiple transactional systems into a single standardized financial close stream.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with business teams to gather and validate requirements for forecasting, trial balance, and transaction posting flows.
Support the design and implementation of a consolidated one stream financial close process.
Drive integration activities across ERP platforms, ensuring alignment with global finance processes.
Translate business requirements into functional specs and collaborate with technical teams for build and configuration.
Participate in solution testing, issue resolution, and deployment support.
Provide on site guidance in Detroit as required (travel on demand).
Required Skills:
Strong SAP FICO expertise with hands on configuration experience.
Prior experience in techno functional roles supporting ERP integration or finance transformation.
Good understanding of financial statements, accounting flows, trial balance, and forecasting models.
Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and work directly with business users.
