Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on GenAI Technical Lead who can drive both technical execution and offshore team management. This role requires a strong balance of Generative AI expertise, software engineering fundamentals, and architecture/scalability experience.

The ideal candidate will act as a technical anchor, helping identify gaps in scalability, system design, and engineering practices, while also contributing directly to development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor offshore engineering teams, ensuring alignment and delivery
Act as a hands-on technical lead contributing to development when needed
Identify and improve system scalability, architecture, and performance bottlenecks
Review existing systems and recommend engineering best practices
Collaborate with stakeholders and reduce dependency on senior leadership bandwidth
Drive end-to-end software delivery, not just model development
Ensure high-quality code, design, and deployment standards

Required Skills

GenAI / AI Expertise

Strong experience with Generative AI (LLMs, NLP use cases, etc.)
Experience building or integrating AI/ML solutions into production systems

Software Engineering (Critical Requirement)

Strong background in software development (backend/full stack)
Experience with system design, scalability, and architecture
Ability to contribute to production-grade code and delivery pipelines

⚠️ Important: Candidates with only a data science background (model building) and lacking software delivery experience will NOT be a fit.

Leadership & Collaboration

Experience managing or coordinating with offshore teams
Ability to work in overlapping time zones
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to Have

Experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps practices
Healthcare domain experience (plus)
