Job Summary
- We are looking for a QE Lead specializing in API and Web Testing (Manual + Automation) to join the CNBC team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality testing solutions across web applications and APIs, while leading QA efforts and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA activities for web applications and API testing projects
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders
- Perform manual API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger
- Validate API endpoints, payloads, and responses for accuracy and reliability
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and REST Assured
- Ensure automation aligns with Agile practices and supports in-sprint testing
- Troubleshoot and debug issues using tools like Git, Jira, and Jenkins
- Mentor team members and drive best practices in QA and automation
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Web and API Testing (Manual + Automation)
- Hands-on expertise with Selenium, Java, TestNG, and REST Assured
- Experience with Postman and Swagger for API validation
- Solid understanding of automation frameworks for APIs and web applications
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter
- Knowledge of Playwright and TypeScript-based frameworks
- Exposure to modern web/API testing frameworks
Soft Skills
- Strong communication (verbal and written)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
