Sr. Tosca Selenium Automation Engineer
New York City, NY or Orlando, FL (3 Days/week)
6+ Months Contract
Job Description:
This role requires at least 60% hands on automation experience with Selenium.
Strong hands-on experience, focusing more on Selenium, with healthcare knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for web using Selenium, UFT, Tosca, or similar tools.
- Build and maintain modular, reusable automation frameworks (BDD, Hybrid, Data Driven).
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, any).
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and end to end testing across environments.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, DevOps, and business teams to ensure quality delivery.
- Analyze failures, perform root cause analysis, and work with engineering teams to resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, grooming, stand ups, retrospectives).
- Support environment readiness, test data creation, and environment validation.
- Provide clear status updates highlighting risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to QA standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Guide automation strategy—what to automate, when, and how—based on business risk and timelines.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–10+ years of hands-on QA automation experience.
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
- Deep experience with Selenium WebDriver, Tosca, UFT, or equivalent tools.
- Proven ability to build scalable automation frameworks and reusable components.
- Solid API testing experience (Postman, RestAssured, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, and test management tools (qTest, Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in an onshore role with full ownership of deliverables.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
