Role: AI Engineer (Automation & AI Initiatives)
Location : Church Street, NY(Hybrid)
Overview:
We are looking for a highly technical, hands-on AI Engineer who will lead AI-driven initiatives within the QA/System team, with a strong focus on automation. This is a strategic role requiring both execution and leadership, working closely with architects and leading a small team.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 12+ years of overall experience
- Local candidates only (NY/NJ area preferred)
- Strong hands-on development experience (Java preferred, Python or others acceptable)
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML or Generative AI
- Experience in automation frameworks or AI-driven testing solutions
- Must have worked on real-world AI implementations (not just theoretical exposure)
- Ability to lead AI initiatives and drive adoption across teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead AI initiatives focused on automation testing and system optimization
- Own and manage AI-based tools/applications (e.g., Log Analyzer / TOLA) including maintenance, enhancements, and adoption across teams
- Drive implementation and expansion of tools like Cursor AI across use cases
- Support and enhance ongoing AI POCs (e.g., Data Assist migration from ChatGPT to Amazon Bedrock)
- Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to define AI roadmap and use cases
- Continuously evaluate and implement new AI tools/solutions over the next 1–2 years
- Provide technical leadership and guide offshore team member
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of strong development experience (Java preferred, but open to other languages)
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML or applied AI use cases
- Strong coding background (must be hands-on, not purely managerial)
- Experience working on automation frameworks or AI-driven testing solutions
- Ability to lead initiatives, drive adoption, and operate independently
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*Nice to Have:
*Exposure to healthcare domain (not mandatory)
Experience with tools like Amazon Bedrock, AI-based automation tools, or similar platforms
