Senior Full-Stack Java Developer
Location: Woodlawn, MD (Onsite – 5 days/week)
Contract Rate: Up to $70/hr on C2C or 1099 max

Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Java Developer to support a large-scale federal government application. The ideal candidate will be a backend-heavy Java developer with strong hands-on Angular experience. This role requires working onsite in Woodlawn, MD, and the selected candidate must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
Notes: -
- Must have lived and worked in the U.S. for at least 3 years
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Candidates with prior clearance are highly preferred
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-Have)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 12+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Java Developer
Candidates needed with federal project experience - Strong backend expertise in Java / J2EE
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Microservices
- Hands-on Angular experience (mandatory)
- Frontend experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services
- Experience with AWS and/or OpenShift
- CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Maven, Git/Bitbucket
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Prior experience working on federal or government IT projects (highly preferred)
- Ability to work onsite in Woodlawn, MD, 5 days per week
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with React
- Database experience with DB2, SQL, Hibernate/JPA
- Batch processing using Spring Batch / Control-M
- Containerization using Docker
- Code quality and security tools such as SonarQube, Fortify
- Performance tuning and scalability experience
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, application security best practices
- Experience with Section 508 compliance
- Strong communication and documentation skills
