Job Description
Client is looking for an experienced HCM Test Lead to lead and manage testing activities for Human Capital Management (HCM) applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining test strategies, coordinating testing efforts, and ensuring high-quality delivery across HCM implementations and enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end testing activities for HCM systems (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time & Labor, Talent modules, etc.)
- Define and execute test strategy, test plans, test cases, and test schedules
- Manage SIT, UAT, Regression, and Integration testing
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, developers, and vendors to gather requirements and validate solutions
- Lead and mentor onshore/offshore QA teams
- Track defects, manage defect triage meetings, and ensure timely resolution
- Ensure compliance with business processes, data accuracy, and regulatory requirements
- Provide regular testing status reports and risk assessments to leadership
- Support production validation and post-deployment testing activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in QA/Test Management
- 4+ years of hands-on experience testing HCM applications (Workday / Oracle HCM / PeopleSoft / SAP HCM)
- Strong knowledge of HCM functional processes (HR, Payroll, Benefits, Time Management)
- Proven experience as a Test Lead or Test Manager
- Expertise in test management tools (HP ALM, JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, etc.)
- Strong defect management and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in airline or transportation industry
- Prior experience working with United Airlines or large enterprise clients
- Automation testing exposure for HCM systems
- Agile/Scrum experience
