Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP HANA Development Lead with over 8+ years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting HANA systems in both standalone and sidecar architectures. Skilled in data modeling, SLT replication, performance tuning, and integration with S/4 & non-SAP systems. Proven ability to deliver real-time analytics solutions and optimize reporting performance. Candidate should have Lead experience and handling complex sidecar environment.

Required Skillsets

Minimum 8+ years of experience in Native HANA development, data modeling, SQLScript, and performance optimization.
Proven expertise in designing end-to-end data models, optimizing complex HANA views, and delivering scalable analytics solutions.
Adept at integrating SAP HANA with S4 HANA and non-SAP systems to drive business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.
Expertise in SQLScript, Table Functions, and advanced Calculation Views.
Understanding of the SAP SLT to do correct mapping
Strong experience in SLT, SDI, SDA for data provisioning.
Knowledge of HANA XS/XS Advanced, OData services.
Experience with performance tuning and query optimization in HANA.
Strong experience in integration with BOA, Webi, Tableau, Power BI.

Support Team Leadership:

Lead and manage a support team handling bug fixes, enhancements, and client queries.
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to team members.
Should have a clear understanding and working experience in SDLC, CI/CD, Agile & Sprint programs.
Ability to Co-ordination with Application and Platform teams, Hyper-Care support, Performance optimization, Unit Test & Integration test support
Mentor and support other colleagues and L2 team for L3 Technical delivery
Managing services SLAs like availability (proactive monitoring) and incident resolutions as per SLAs .

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a support team handling bug fixes, enhancements, and client queries.
Design and develop Attribute, Analytic, and Calculation Views (Graphical and SQLScript-based).
Create complex Calculation Views using Table Functions, and SQLScript.
Use variables and input parameters to enable dynamic data filtering.
Develop stored procedures and functions to handle business logic in the database layer.
Implement Hierarchies, Restricted, and Calculated Columns in HANA models.
Optimize joins, aggregations, and projections for faster execution.
Refactor complex Calculation Views by leveraging Aggregation Nodes, Star Join, and pruning techniques.
