Role: Data Architect with P2P & SOX/GDPR experience (CGEMJP00321285)
Duration: 12 Month
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Comprehensive Data Assessment: Lead the analysis and
auditing of current P2P data systems to evaluate their effectiveness,
identify pain points (e.g., data silos, quality issues), and document
data flows from source to consumption.
Design Future-State Architecture: Develop conceptual, logical, and
physical data models for the P2P domain that support long-term business
objectives and advanced analytics capabilities.
Develop Data Strategy & Roadmap: Create a strategic roadmap for data
acquisition, integration, storage, and governance within P2P finance,
outlining the transition from current to future-state architectures.
Establish Data Governance & Quality: Define and implement data
governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality,
consistency, security, and compliance with financial regulations (e.g.,
SOX, GDPR).
Oversee Data Integration & Migration: Design and provide guidance on
end-to-end data integration patterns and data migration processes,
ensuring seamless data flow between various P2P systems (e.g.,
procurement software, general ledger, accounts payable).
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with finance teams, data
engineers, data analysts, and IT leadership to understand business
requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and build
consensus on proposed solutions.
Performance Optimization: Analyze query performance and optimize
database systems for improved efficiency and real-time insights into P2P
operations.
Provide Technical Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert,
providing guidance and mentorship to development teams and ensuring
adherence to sound data management principles and best practices.
