Role : Automation Tester
Location : Hartford , CT
Job Description
Technical Skills: (Primary)
Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright for:
● Web applications (React/Angular)
● Hybrid mobile apps (Ionic/Capacitor)
● APIs (RESTful, GraphQL, BFF services)
● Implement behavior-driven testing (BDD) using frameworks like Cucumber.
● Conduct performance testing using JMeter, K6, or Artillery.
Technical Skills (Secondary – Nice to have, NOT MANDATORY):
● Experience with security testing (OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite)
● Exposure to event-driven systems and domain-driven design
● Hands-on with test data automation and synthetic data generation
● Proven ability to mentor freshman/junior engineers and lead testing strategy discussions
Soft Skills
- As this is an onsite role, must have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Insurance Domain Knowledge
- Strong ability to work with client stakeholders.
- Requirement Review and Work Effort Estimation
