Role Overview
Responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure to support data platforms, trading systems, and time-series databases. Ensures scalable, secur optimized environments for data engineering and analytics workloads.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for data platforms (KDB, Databricks, Timescale).
Implement infrastructure as code (laC) using Terraform/CloudFormation.
Build and manage networking, VPCs, security groups, IAM policies.
Configure compute (EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda) and storage (S3, EBS, EFS) for scalability.
Enable monitoring & observability with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana.
Implement cost management and optimization strategies.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements (encryption, logging, IAM).
Required Skills
Strong expertise in AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch).
Experience with laC (Terraform or CloudFormation).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment.
Experience in cloud security (KMS, encryption, IAM best practices).
Exposure to supporting data platforms (Databricks, KDB, or PostgreSQL/Timescale).
Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
