FIX Protocol Integration Specialist
ONSITE- Raleigh/AZ/Remote

Duration: 12+ months with possible extension

Job Description:

Implementing FIX connectivity This involves setting up and configuring
connections between trading systems using the FIX protocol, ensuring
proper session management (logon, heartbeat, logout), and handling
message sequencing. Developing and integrating trading applications
Building applications that interact with various financial
institutions using FIX messages to send orders, receive execution
reports, and manage trading activities. Parsing and constructing FIX
messages Understanding the structure of FIX messages, including
header, body, and trailer, and correctly interpreting and generating
tag-value pairs for different message types (e.g., New Order Single,
Execution Report, Quote Request). Troubleshooting and debugging FIX
issues Identifying and resolving problems related to FIX connectivity,
message formatting, session state, and order flow
