Role Overview: We are looking for a strategic and results-driven professional to lead Application Rationalization efforts across the global IT landscape. This role will focus on optimizing the application portfolio by identifying redundancies, reducing costs, and aligning technology assets with business objectives across multiple geographies and business units.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Global Portfolio Analysis: Assess and document the global application inventory, usage patterns, and business value across regions.
•    Rationalization Strategy Development: Create and execute a roadmap for application consolidation, retirement, modernization, or replacement.
•    Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with regional IT teams, business leaders, and enterprise architects to understand local needs and global synergies.
•    Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities for cost savings through license rationalization, vendor consolidation, and cloud migration.
•    Governance & Compliance: Ensure rationalization efforts comply with global data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
•    Tooling & Automation: Utilize tools like ServiceNow, LeanIX, Apptio, or custom dashboards to manage and visualize the application portfolio.
•    Change Management: Support change initiatives by communicating benefits, risks, and timelines to stakeholders across regions.
•    Reporting: Provide regular updates to executive leadership on progress, KPIs, and realized benefits.

Required Qualifications:
•    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
•    7+ years of experience in IT strategy, enterprise architecture, or application portfolio management in a global environment.
•    Proven experience in application rationalization or digital transformation projects.
•    Strong understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), SaaS models, and enterprise IT ecosystems.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures and time zones.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Certifications: TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent.
•    Experience with global M&A integration or divestiture projects.
•    Familiarity with financial modeling (TCO, ROI) and business case development.
•    Multilingual capabilities or experience working in multilingual environments.

Success Metrics:
•    % reduction in total applications globally.
•    Annual cost savings from rationalization initiatives.
•    Improved application performance and user satisfaction.
•    Increased alignment of IT assets with global business strategy.
