Role Overview:

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Network Architect to oversee and manage a large team of Network Leads, Network Engineers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (such as Security, Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Operations).
• The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on technical expertise in network engineering with proven leadership skills, ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our network infrastructure.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of Network Leads and Network Engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee end-to-end network operations: design, implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting of large-scale, mission-critical network infrastructures (LAN/WAN/WiFi/Data Center/Cloud).
• Stay hands-on: act as a technical escalation point for complex network issues, providing guidance and direct troubleshooting as necessary.
• Collaborate with other technology teams (Security, Cloud, DevOps, Application, Operations) to deliver integrated solutions and drive business objectives.
• Develop and maintain network standards, policies, and best practices to ensure compliance, security, and operational excellence.
• Capacity and performance planning: proactively monitor, analyze, and recommend upgrades or enhancements.
• Vendor management: evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with hardware, software, and service vendors.
• Lead incident and problem management: drive root cause analysis and preventive actions for critical network outages.
• Budget planning and resource management for network projects and operations.

 

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in network engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing large teams.
• Deep, hands-on expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, VPN, SD-WAN, and network security (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc.).
• Strong experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Experience with network monitoring, NMS, and performance tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, PCNSE, AWS/Azure networking certifications are a plus.
