Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid – Need Locals ONLY
Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description: 12+ years of Total IT exp required .

We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This long-term hybrid role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines while ensuring security best practices across development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation, cloud infrastructure, and security tools in a DevSecOps environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.
• Integrate DevSecOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Implement and manage security tools such as SonarQube, Fortify, Prisma Cloud, etc., for SAST/DAST.
• Administer artifact repositories like Nexus or JFrog Artifactory.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to streamline secure delivery pipelines.
• Develop custom integrations between CI/CD and security tools to meet compliance requirements.
• Utilize AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.) for infrastructure automation and deployments.
• Monitor pipeline health and create automated feedback loops to enhance efficiency and security.
• Champion Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Contribute to the evolution, best practices, and governance of the Enterprise CI/CD Engineering platform.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in DevOps/DevSecOps engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in:
• Jenkins, GitHub
• SonarQube, Nexus/JFrog
• CI/CD pipeline automation
• Proficient with AWS cloud services and Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on with security tools like Fortify, Prisma Cloud, Snyk, or similar.
• Experience developing automation scripts in Python, Bash, Groovy, etc.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes (plus).
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for complex CI/CD and security-related issues.
• Prior experience with Enterprise CI/CD Engineering teams is highly desirable.
