Note from the client:

Client is looking for more of a HR Project Manager. They aren't looking for someone to lead Workday Implementations. They are looking for someone who is familiar working within a workday environment but not necessarily just focused on implementations. The client RMS US already has Workday implemented they are looking for someone to manage projects within their Talent Team which is a workday environment.


Position Overview: 

Working within the Talent team, the Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordination and execution of delivery aspects of assigned projects in support of initiatives within the Talent Technology portfolio.  The PM is responsible for coordinating assignment of individual Talent Technology responsibilities, developing the project plan, tasks and deliverables to ensure timely tech team delivery. 

My notes from Call: The Project Manager will be working a part of their Talent Team. The Talent Team is an internal RSM team with about 50+ IT people. The Project Manager will be supporting internal business partners - non external. The Talent team is 70% Workday, 10% Cornerstone, and 20% other ERP solutions. They will be focused on Delivery management and process improvement. They may be asked to lead full end-to-end project management as requested by RSM teams and delivered to same team. Some of the Talent group is offshore, so should have experience working with USI teams and able to join potential early calls (no earlier than 8am CST). Project workload will range from managing 4-5 mid-small projects or two larger initiatives. 2 large projects would be enterprise wide and working with various teams across RSM. The mid-small projects would be across the Talent group working with crossfunctional teams

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years working in project/operations area with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects with moderate to high risk   
  • 3+ years' experience supporting Workday iniatitives
  • Experience in navigating in a matrix reporting environment solving/resolving complex issues   

Preferred Qualifications: 

PMP Certification
