Job Title : Technical Product Owner
Location : Cincinnati, OH 45202. (Onsite)
Duration : 12+ months
Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Product Owner with a balanced blend of product vision and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will partner with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to drive delivery of key digital features within the Domain Services team at Fifth Third Bank.
Responsibilities:
- Translate market problems and business needs into well-defined user stories and product features.
- Own the product backlog and prioritize based on ROI, customer impact, and business value.
- Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle (analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment).
- Collaborate with development teams to deliver customer-centric functionality at a regular cadence.
- Break down epics/features into granular, actionable user stories suitable for sprint planning and estimation.
- Communicate product vision and roadmap to internal teams and external clients.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by developing strong domain knowledge and representing their needs.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to the SAFe and Scrum/Agile frameworks in practice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Business Analyst.
- Proven ability to manage multiple features and backlogs simultaneously.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum or SAFe.
- Ability to effectively gather and articulate business and technical requirements.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies across the full stack is beneficial, though not required.
