Job Title : PAAS Administrator
Location : Watsonville, CA (Hybrid Role)
Duration : 12 Months
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Platform as a Service (PAAS) administrator with 5-6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing PAAS environments, ensuring seamless integration and performance across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of PAAS solutions to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring tools to track system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize resource utilization.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that all PAAS environments adhere to security standards and compliance requirements, implementing necessary updates and patches.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for PAAS-related issues, working closely with development and operations teams to resolve problems efficiently.
- Automation and Scripting: Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and reduce manual intervention.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in PAAS administration or a similar role.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of networking, security protocols, and database management.
- Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in cloud technologies or PAAS platforms.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
