Network Security Architect

Location: Remote with Travel or Miami, FL (3 days onsite)

Type: 6 months plus contract

Only USC

Notes:

  • Senior Network Security Architect is responsible for contributing to the design and implementation of enterprise security strategies, architectures, and solutions to protect the company's network and meet security and compliance requirements.
  • The Manager is looking for someone strong in 3 Key Areas
    1. Experience with firewalls Palo alto (tangible experience – wants to see what did you do with it)
    2. Understanding of cloud deployments ideally Azure (tangible experience – wants to see what did you do with it)
      • Wants experience with both layers(not just networking):
        • Network infrastructure side
        • Computing/Systems side
    3. Automation (tangible experience – wants to see what did you do with it)
      • Should have strong Knowledge on scripting and can showcase of how it helped vs talking about simple scripts they can just find online
  • 5+ years Designing & implementing large-scale network security infrastructure both on-prem and cloud required. 
  • 5+ years Deploying, migrating & automating the network security infrastructure in large-scale environments required. 
  • 5+ years Design and management of in centralized multi-vendor firewalls required. 
  • Generic knowledge of Network security concepts in Virtualization platforms such as Kubernetes & VMware.
