Title: Network Engineer L3
Location: Dallas, TX / Redmond, WA
Note: 15+ Years profile only.
Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled L3 Network Engineer with extensive experience in Juniper networks, Security and a strong background in routing and switching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure with a focus on Juniper devices (EX, MX, SRX series).
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex L3 network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Implement and optimize routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc.).
- Perform network upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
- Collaborate with architecture and security teams to ensure network integrity and security compliance.
- Document network topologies, changes, and standard operating procedures.
- Mentor and support L1/L2 network engineers as required.
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide escalation support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Deep understanding of routing & switching concepts (VLANs, STP, VTP, HSRP/VRRP, EtherChannel, etc.).
- Expertise in dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
- Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
