Job Title: Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer to join a strategic long-term project focused on enhancing and migrating core systems within the Guidewire ClaimCenter (CC) and potentially PolicyCenter (PC) environments. This role is primarily remote and requires a strong understanding of functional configurations and data mapping related to Claims and/or Policy modules (Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business analysts and system architects to analyze current data structures and map source data fields for seamless migration to ClaimCenter and/or PolicyCenter.
- Configure and develop custom features in ClaimCenter using Guidewire Studio and GOSU programming.
- Design and implement data conversion and migration strategies, ensuring integrity, consistency, and completeness of migrated data.
- Assist in integration efforts with third-party systems and other Guidewire modules.
- Perform unit testing, support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Document technical solutions, migration logic, and configuration changes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing ClaimCenter or PolicyCenter implementations.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3–5+ years of experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter; PolicyCenter experience is a plus.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of GOSU scripting language and Guidewire Studio.
- Proven experience in data mapping and migration projects, including source-to-target mapping and data validation.
- Solid understanding of ClaimCenter architecture, configuration, and workflows.
- Experience with integration technologies such as SOAP/REST APIs.
- Familiarity with SQL and data profiling tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud or DevConnect APIs.
- Guidewire Certification in ClaimCenter Configuration or Integration.
- Prior experience in Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
