Job Title: MES & Ignition Developer
Location: Columbus, IN (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months
Skills Required:
· Ignition (UI and related components)
· Web Integration (REST, SOAP APIs)
· PLC Communication (Read/Write via Ignition)
· Database Integration (Read/Write operations)
· Event Scripting (Python, Java, VB, etc.)
· Mobile robotic automation integration and support
·
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate directly with Plant Stakeholders (IT, Controls, Industrial Engineers)
· Split time between Cummins CMEP and CEP plants
· Support integration, functional testing, and UAT
· Engage business users to define UAT test plans
· Create and maintain technical documentation
