Job Title: Oracle EDI Developer

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid: 3 days on-site/week)
Duration: 6-month contract

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain EDI integrations with trading partners using various communication protocols (e.g., AS2, SFTP, VAN).
  • Map and translate data between different EDI formats (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and Oracle Fusion Cloud data structures.
  • Configure and manage the Customer Master Key (CMK) framework within Oracle Fusion Cloud, ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve EDI integration issues, working closely with internal teams and external trading partners.
  • Monitor EDI processes and proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and functional teams to gather requirements for new EDI integrations and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for EDI processes and configurations.
  • Participate in testing and validation of EDI and Oracle Fusion Cloud integrations.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration processes and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) development and support.
  • Proven experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud, specifically in integrating with external systems.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience configuring and managing the Customer Master Key (CMK) framework within Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Proficiency in mapping and translating data between various EDI formats (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.) and different application data models.
  • Experience with various EDI communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, VAN, etc.).
  • Familiarity with integration tools and technologies relevant to Oracle Fusion Cloud (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud - OIC, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.
  • Excellent communication2 and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.3
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
