Job Title : Java Backend Developer
Location : Cincinnati, Ohio (Onsite)
Duration : 12+ Months
Job Summary:
- Seeking an experienced Java developer to lead backend service development and support internal fraud application systems within an agile team environment.
Must Have
- 5+ Years of Java Experience with exposure to Java 21
- APIs – Rest and Soap
- Deployments on OpenSystems Windows and/or Linux
- Spring Boot / Spring Framework
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of Java development experience, proficient in Java 21.
- Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
- Experience with deployment pipelines and managing vendor systems is a plus.
- Banking/Financial services background preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Java/Java EE applications, emphasizing Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Design and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs.
- Deploy applications on OpenSystems (Windows and/or Linux).
- Collaborate with peers to ensure efficient software development lifecycle management.
- Provide troubleshooting and support across various environments and platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven track record in designing and developing enterprise-level applications.
- Ability to work onsite at least 5 days a week.
