Title: Sr. Power BI/SQL Developers

Job Responsibilities:
• The client is looking for a senior Power BI/SQL developer with extensive experience in designing and developing reports using PowerBI and creating complex SQL queries. Candidate must be able to work onsite 4 days a week.
• The Developer will be a member of the DevOps team that will be implementing a new comprehensive child welfare information system. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The candidate will work closely with social workers and system developers to identify contributing factors to data quality issues and design processes to eliminate them. The candidate will also be a critical resource for overseeing data conversion from the legacy system to its new system according to the project schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct analysis of data maintained in multiple different sources and identify processes to validate the information.
• Coordinate the client data management governance structure, perform required analysis tasks, and support client staff in implementing recommendations.
• Gather and translate business requirements into detailed, production-level technical specifications, creating robust data models, data analysis features, and enhancements.
• Collect requirements for reports from program staff, prototype reports, and work with other vendors to deploy reports using the 365Dynamics platform.
• Write complex data joints to establish data measures across multiple tables.
• Modify existing reports and/or develop new reports by analyzing databases, data sources, and structures for the benefit of Users. Perform QA analysis on reports for accuracy and reports meet the intended business needs.
• Manage Azure Data Services including Synapse/Synapse Links, Azure SQL Pool, Data Lake
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
